Why local matters on a loss
National franchises and lead-generation sites will happily take your call from anywhere. What happens next is that your job gets routed to whichever crew is available, sometimes hours away, sometimes a subcontractor you never spoke to.
We live here. Our equipment and our warehouse are here. When there’s a hard freeze in January and half the county has burst pipes at once, we’re already in the neighborhood — and we know which roads are passable.
It also means we know the building stock. A 1890s farmhouse in Columbia County dries very differently from a 2015 build in Clifton Park, and a lakeside camp closed up for the winter has its own set of problems entirely.
